About Me.
I’ve put off doing an “About Me” page for years. I’m not sure why, but here goes nothing. I’m sure I’ll add and change this until I get it perfect, so you might want to check back occasionally.
I’m a lover of: Writing, Music, Movies, Books, Graphic Design, Blogging, Twitter, Wine, Good Conversation, Laughter, My Family, My Friends, and Love…. always Love.
I type in CAPS when it calls for it. I am a huge fan of the “…”, yes I know it’s not proper grammar, too bad… deal with it. I have a slight Book Addiction. No, I don’t want to go to a support group, I’m quite happy being in this addiction, thank you. I love music and movies. I also am a “Reality” TV fan. Everything from Big Brother to Project Runway, to Top Chef and America’s Next Top Model. No, I don’t care how UNreal, it is… it’s my guilty pleasure. Speaking of Guilty Pleasures, I love watching The Hills, Gossip Girl, and The Vampire Diaries. No, seriously, I promise I’m 36.
I’ve had a blog for years, and have always gone back and forth with what to do with it, what to leave out, what to add. I change designs, or Blog names on a whim, because if I get bored of it, I’m going to change it. I’m not a Mom Blogger, so I’ll claim myself as a Life Blogger. Because that is exactly what this blog is about… my life.
This past year has been a rough one. There have been many set backs, heartaches, health issues (family & personal), but I think that I’ve managed to stay afloat. I believe in hope… and hanging on. So, that’s just what I’m doing.
I write from my heart, usually uncensored, and am often (always?) opinionated. I’m open minded, as long as you don’t try to change me or my views. I dream in vivid color, wish on falling stars, dance in the rain, sing like I’m a rock star, laugh out loud at something I remembered from yesterday, and try to think outside the box. My family is everything to me. THEY are what it’s all about.
Now for the ‘business’ stuff.
I’m an aspiring writer (I know, who isn’t?)and blogger. I dream of being published, either a book or a column.
